It was one of those mornings that made you blue because of the grey skies. I drove around the lake looking for anything I could photography. Just when I was about to leave, I drove down the boat ramp at Payntown at Lake Monroe and I seen this beautiful sight! I got out of my car and went down to the water and started taking pictures. The water was so calm and clear, I could see the rocks underneath. It reminded me of a scene you would see in a movie. Just goes to show you that there is always beauty, you just need to find it.

Everyone that has visited IU Bloomington's campus knows where this is located. It's called Sample Gates and it was named after a wonderful man named Ed Sample who donated a considerable amount of money to IU. I wanted to take pictures there on a foggy morning because I thought it would look magical, and I was right. If you ever come to Bloomington you must visit this spot. It is on the corner of Indiana Avenue and Kirkwood Avenue, you can't miss it.

This is a famous little red barn in Brown County that I wanted to include in a sunrise picture. When I got here, the sun was over too far to be directly behind the barn, but I made sure it was at least in the picture.

What a beautiful morning this was. Famous spot in Brown County IN on top of the big hill on E. SR 46 over looking the Brown County State Park in the distance with morning fog.

I had to climb up on my car to get this shot. I wanted to get a picture of the sunset over a corn field and I just went driving one night and came across this huge corn field and knew this was the one.

Believe it or not, I almost missed this sunset. I was at the lake and it was cloudy and the sky was very dark. On the way home, I noticed that the clouds were starting to turn pink, so I drove to Paynetown and when I arrived there, I witnessed this, an unbelievable sunset. I took mutliple pictures of this sunset, so it will be a series.

Beautiful sunrise with an opening to the heavens at Fairfax Beach Lake Monroe. I have made up my mind that these cirrocumulus clouds are my favorite for sunrises, as they reflect such beautiful colors from the sun. This was taken at 6:10 am golden hour.

This sunrise was a mix of colors and different types of clouds. This shot captured the sunbeams coming over the stratocumulus clouds, making the top of the clouds light up a gold color. There was also a reflection of this cloud in the water of the pond. It was definitely a beautiful sunrise.

This stratus cloud over this field with hay bales was so beautiful! The sky didn't have much color, so I made the photo black and white. I'm glad I did. Somone in a photo group said "You can feel this picture." I would have to agree.

This picture was taken at the beautiful McCormick's Creek State Park in Indiana. The picture was taken with long exposure. That is what gives the water a dreamy look coming off the falls and the pool of water below like glass. I definitely got my feet wet taking this picture.

I'm always looking for new places to take sunset pictures, and I will have to say this is one of my favorites. The address is actually in Gosport, IN and the location is along an old country road where you can see for miles. I just pull alongside the roadway to watch the sunset and take as many pictures as I can. The sunset changes so fast, I don't want to miss a thing.
